1. Information we collect

We collect only what is needed to operate the App's features. This falls into two categories:

Account information (the person using the App)

• Username and password — passwords are stored as irreversible cryptographic hashes; we never store or can read your plain-text password.
• Role (parent or coach) and the swim club you belong to.
• Session and device data — IP address, device/browser identifier, and login timestamps, used only to keep you securely signed in and to detect unusual activity.

Athlete information (entered by a parent or coach)

This information is entered directly by a parent or coach for the purpose of managing a specific athlete's training. The App does not collect this data automatically or from any other source.

2. How we use this information

• To operate core features: athlete profiles, training schedules, attendance, race statistics, and growth charts.
• To authenticate your account and keep your session secure.
• To let a coach view athletes within their own swim club, and a parent view only the athletes linked to their account.
• To diagnose technical issues and improve reliability (e.g. crash and error logs).

We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to swim team management.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or athlete data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data is only accessible to:

• The parent or coach account it belongs to, and coaches within the same swim club (for team management purposes only).
• Infrastructure providers that host the App's servers and database, who process data solely to keep the service running and are bound to protect it — they do not use it for their own purposes.

We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies for cross-app tracking.

4. Children's information

Athlete records in SwimREC commonly belong to minors. This information is entered and managed by a parent or coach acting on the child's behalf — the App is not directed at children, and children do not create accounts or interact with the App directly. Parents and coaches are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter and may edit or remove it at any time from within the App.

5. Data retention & account deletion

We retain information for as long as your account is active, so the App can continue to provide training history, attendance records, and performance trends.

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the App. Deleting your account deactivates your login, revokes all active sessions, and marks your account and the athlete records linked to it for deletion. This action cannot be undone.

6. Security

• Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage and are never stored in plain text.
• All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
• Access to athlete data is restricted by account role — parents see only their own linked athletes; coaches see only athletes within their club.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical measures to protect your information.

7. Your rights and choices

• You may access, correct, or update athlete information at any time within the App.
• You may delete your account and associated data at any time, as described above.
• You may contact us to ask questions about your data or request its removal outside the normal in-app flow.

5. การเก็บรักษาและการลบข้อมูล

เราเก็บรักษาข้อมูลตราบเท่าที่บัญชีของคุณยังใช้งานอยู่ เพื่อให้แอปสามารถแสดงประวัติการฝึกซ้อม การเข้าร่วมซ้อม และแนวโน้มพัฒนาการได้อย่างต่อเนื่อง

ไม่มีวิธีการส่งหรือจัดเก็บข้อมูลใดปลอดภัย 100% แต่เรามีมาตรการทางเทคนิคที่เหมาะสมเพื่อปกป้องข้อมูลของคุณ

7. สิทธิและทางเลือกของคุณ

• คุณสามารถเข้าถึง แก้ไข หรืออัปเดตข้อมูลนักกีฬาได้ทุกเมื่อภายในแอป
